Your Excellency, I am a huge fan of your writings, and have great admiration for the tireless work you have done to exorcise evil - wherever you find it. I was absolutely thrilled to be told by a friend of mine recently that a high quality Bishop Manchester video game is in development! My friend told me that the game will be available on all platforms, including PC and PS3. I think this is an amazing concept for a game. I was wonder if you could you please confirm to us all whether the video game is an official, confirmed project, or just a rumour? I am sure your followers, like me, would love some more information! Many thanks. — Peter Michaels
It is not a rumour. However, I can tell you very little about the project save it is a 3D interactive game which is apparently based on my perceived public persona. More than that I really do not know.
.
Your Excellency, thank you so much for your answer! From the stills you have kindly presented us, it looks as if the designers have put a huge amount of effort into this project. It looks great.
ReplyDeleteSo many modern video games are based on violence, crime and corruption; I think a game where people can adventure as a real-life defender of spiritual values is a very positive thing--not to mention a refreshing change for the genre.
I can't wait to play it!
Many thanks again,
Peter Michaels
Thank you for your kind and generous comments.
ReplyDeleteI feel my features were captured rather well in 2D imagery, but less convincingly so in 3D where I am modelled in a new form to gain the required 3D effect. This was obviously a challenge.
I appear to have metamorphosed from a good likeness of me (based on what I looked like in the previous century) to the late actor Robert Shaw whom I like, but he is not me, nor I him.
Perhaps the final manifestation will adjust back to something more resembling the original?
Your Excellency,
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed many games featuring real-life celebrities--typically where games form part of a movie franchise. Although the technology is getting very good, there is no doubting that the resulting faces are never quite perfect.
Of course, such anomalies would be more noticable to a photographer/portrait artist than to the rest of us.
That said, as long as the upcoming game is in accord with the spirit of your work and writings, I'm sure your fans and followers will be happy!
Peter Michaels
Shall we see His Excellency's adversaries depicted in the game?
ReplyDeleteIt is rather difficult to imagine such a game without our adversaries being somehow depicted.
ReplyDeleteI am, of course, talking about "principalities and powers, the rulers of the world of this darkness, the spirits of wickedness in the high places" (Ephesians 6: 12) and their emissaries.
